A graduated cylinder helps measure the required liquid volume rapidly and relatively accurately and behaves similarly to its real-life counterpart. To perform measurements, proceed with the following steps:
A digital pipettor is designed for accurate liquid transfer. To use it, bring the controller to it until it is highlighted and press the trigger. From now on the pipettor will remain in your hand until you press Grip, so you don't have to keep the trigger pressed.
Press trigger a second time to discharge all collected liquid
ATTENTION! If the pipettor is not inserted in a container, the liquid will still be discharged to be irretrievably lost. Be careful! Keep in mind that the set volume can be measured when the pipettor is full, but distributing the collected volume across multiple containers generates an increasingly significant error.
The laboratory is equipped with a transfuser, a special device for transferring multiple small portions of substances.
The source container is placed on the left-hand side of the device, and the receiving container is on the right-hand side. Set transfer speed and volume using the interface, press the Transfuse button and wait for the transfer to finish. You can then either repeat the transfer using the same containers or replace one or both of them. See Tools and Instruments for further details.
